Face Material 1 -Carbon Fiber / Graphite
Carbon face is also named Graphite. Raw material is black.
Carbon fiber is a lightweight and incredibly strong material. It is primarily composed of carbon atoms, typically in the form of graphite crystals, which are aligned in a parallel arrangement. It is significantly lighter than steel while being about five times stronger.
This material is lighter weight,it’s regarded as the more premium material in pickleball market.
There are T300/T700/T800, 3K/12K/18K, UD/Plain weave/Twill Weave different carbon firber.
Face Material 2 -Glass Fiber / Composite
Glass fiber face, also known as composite, is made from white raw material.
It is heavier compared to carbon material, which is why some pickleball players prefer its weight. The added weight provides a better pop feeling during gameplay.
Glass fiber offers a high cost-performance ratio, making it a more budget-friendly option for many beginners or amateur players who are new to or just starting out in the sport of pickleball.
Core Material 1 -Polymer / PP
Polymer, also known as PP (Polypropylene) and polyethylene, is a popular material used in pickleball paddle cores. It has a heavier weight compared to Nomex, another commonly used material. This heavier weight is preferred by some clients, as it can enhance the overall feel and power of their shots. Additionally, PP cores can be customized by adding extra weight to meet specific player preferences.
It’s worth noting that currently, PP cores dominate the market, accounting for approximately 95% of pickleball paddles available. This widespread usage speaks to the popularity and effectiveness of PP as a core material in the manufacturing of pickleball paddles.
Core Material 2 -Nomex / Aramider / PP
Nomex, also known as Aramid, is a premium core material used in pickleball paddles. It is highly regarded for its lightweight nature and offers a sweeter spot with crisp ball contact. When combined with a graphite face, Nomex becomes the most premium pickleball paddle material available, albeit with a higher cost.
It’s important to note that Nomex cores are known for their higher price point compared to other core materials. Additionally, Nomex cores tend to produce more noise during gameplay compared to PP (Polypropylene) cores. Despite the higher cost and potential noise factor, the exceptional performance and superior playing experience offered by Nomex make it a preferred choice for many serious and professional pickleball players.

Indoor balls: 26 holes, with dia72mm, soft PP material, Injection molding
Outdoor balls: 40 holes, with dia74mm, hard PE material, Rotational molding
Outdoor balls are harder, promoting faster gameplay, while indoor balls are softer for a slower pace.
The disparity in hole sizes serves a purpose. Outdoor balls are designed to withstand the elements and harder court surfaces. Smaller holes provide stability and resistance to wind. In contrast, indoor balls are lighter and softer, catering to controlled indoor playing conditions.
Outdoor pickleballs are typically harder and constructed using thicker, heavier plastic for increased durability. Indoor balls, made of softer plastic, offer a lightweight profile and tend to last longer.
